Charges may change after prosecutor review. Release can follow bond, a court order, sentence completion, transfer, or dismissal, so release status alone never states how the criminal accusation ended.

Franklin Arrest Record Removal Clocks
Nebraska law distinguishes several outcomes. Under Neb. Rev. Stat. §29-3523, an arrest with no charge after the prosecutor's decision leaves public dissemination after one year. Successful diversion without filing uses a two-year period. Qualifying filed cases can be removed after dismissal, acquittal, deferred judgment, or successful approved problem-solving court completion when the statutory trigger and notice requirements are met.
